On the occasion of the filming of a documentary on French soil, Chinese film stars were hired to promote the excellent products of our territory. Traveling over more than a month in France, this team highlights products such as wine, honey and essential oils by promoting the know-how and specificities of our regions. For Provence it was in Valensole that the shooting took place on the set in the middle of lavender. The shots continued at the Lavender Exhibition as well as in the MEA PROVENCE store where the actors were able to smell and taste our products. Alain Sauvat being the guide and actor in this report. The shoot ended with a demonstration of lavender cutting with a sickle and a dinner in the heart of lavender. The Chinese team was won over and this report, which will appear on Chinese TV in early 2018, will promote our dear lavender.

Historic Rally Alps Cups

On the occasion of the 28th edition of the “Coupe des Alpes de Rallye historique” organized by “Rally story” under the direction of Mr Giraud, 140 vintage cars stopped on the famous and magnificent Valensole plateau. 140 crews, or 240 pilots and co-pilots, have come to the land of lavender for a grandiose lunch break. Starting from Evian and ending on the Croisette in Cannes for a 4-day trip, our competitors were able to savor a unique and magical moment in the heart of lavender in the shade of truffle oaks. A reception worthy of the prestige of this race and its legendary cars, under a 250m2 marquee, a gourmet buffet was held, on the menu no less than 7 country lamb rotating on a spit, an unforgettable barbecue for our runners as well as many visitors who came appreciated the moment. Under the leadership of Alain Sauvat the organizer and steward of this day, MEA TRAITEUR was up to the task: animation on honey with its living beehive, animation on truffles, many gifts of local products for the competitors and above all a magnificent site and a successful gastronomic reception. The “Rally story” team continued the event for the next 2 years.

Reception

The association of the automobile club of old English women of Lyon made a stop at Valensole in the gardens of “Clos de Villeneuve” on this magnificent day in June. A buffet run by MEA TRAITEUR was served in the shade of the Clos chestnut trees. A stopover for those passionate about old cars before heading to Nice in the afternoon. On the program, therefore, lunch then a guided tour of the Lavender Exhibition and discovery of local products. Our more than satisfied friends will keep fond memories of these few hours with us in the land of scents.

Anniversary

On the occasion of her 20th birthday, Julie’s parents called on MEA TRAITEUR for this event, for the aperitif buffet menu with its tapenades, anchovies and prestigious petits fours followed by good leg of lamb from our Provence. A successful evening where wine and pastis flowed freely.

Reception

The Renault foundation was visiting the region, it chose MEA TRAITEUR and the Lavender Exhibition for a lunch followed by a guided tour. 84 people were invited to this event. One day when our guests were able to appreciate the quality of the buffet but also the site of the “Clos de Villeneuve” garden and the visit to the Lavender Exhibition as well as souvenirs on the lavender theme at MEA PROVENCE.
